Book Review:
As Sure As the Dawn
Third in the Mark of the Lion Series by Francine Rivers
As another reviewer noted, this book could have easily been a standalone and not part of the trilogy. There is only one character that was in the first two books. However, Francine Rivers has the ability to draw the reader into the story. I really cared about the characters which is what kept me turning pages. The book slowed considerably once they reached Germania but eventually picked up and moved quickly from that point forward. As I said before, from the first book I was amazed at the author’s ability to weave Christian concepts and even scripture into the fabric of the novel. Great Read!
Current Project

I am currently preparing to republish my short story anthology, Times of Joy and Sorrow, as both an e-book and a paperback. It should be available in a couple of weeks.
Also, I am currently doing research for the third book in the Legacy series. I really don’t have a title as yet and I am open for suggestions.
It is very interesting that after all the years I worked on The Vance Legacy and then Dark Legacy, this genre is finally trending. Recent publications and movies in this genre are as follows:
Twelve Years A Slave (Movie from an old novel)
The Book of Negros (A Series)
The Underground (A Series)
The New Roots Series
Free Town of Jones (Movie In theaters now)
